Market Town Pies is the epitome of a Family Business we have crafted crusts with family roots.

Our family have lived in the famous Market Town of Skipton our entire lives and what better way to honor our home than naming our business after it?

Meet the Family

Daniel, with over 20 years experience working in kitchens and front of house has been developing the pies over the years and has finally hit perfection! Daniel became co-owner of The White Horse Inn at Thornton 6 years ago and has aided in the pub going from strength to strength. Supported by his wife of 12 years, Kim, and two daughters, Millie 16 and Kaitlin 10 (AKA chief taste testers)

Brother, Chris will be in the kitchen cooking up a storm! With over 15 years experience in the industry. Chris has worked front of house at our pub for the first 10 years and moved in to the kitchen 2 years ago building his skills and honing his craft. Supported by his wife of 5 years, Tash and daughter Isla 4 months.

Mum and Dad, Kirsten and Gary were childhood sweethearts and have been married 35 years, they raised their two Sons in Skipton and now have 3 beautiful Granddaughters. They took over The White Horse Inn at Thornton in 2013 and have built a very successful business. Leaning on their extensive experience in commercial kitchens and also working front of house. You will find them at artisan markets selling our Pies whilst helping to run things behind the scenes!
